Dr Mepaiyeda studied at University of Ibadan, Edo State University, University of Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria and University of Geneva, Switzerland. His career as a researcher and teacher span over a decade. His area of specialization include Church History, African Indigenous Religion, Church and Governance. He is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Religious Studies, University of Ibadan
